Our Story
During our time working in the healthcare industry, our team uncovered a long-standing and wasteful process. The paper-based process forced certified professionals to re-apply to their positions yearly, by providing copies of their credentials from issuing authorities. Their place of employment required these proofs of credentials to reduce liability to their organization.
The problem boiled down to trust. There wasn't a platform that allowed for trust between authorities and professionals. Credential authorities who issue certificates, didn't have the means to post an authentic certificate, nor was their a platform to allow professionals to share this proof with colleagues and associated organizations.
We joined together like minded problem solvers from various industries, and recruited the help from 3 doctors found in different regions of Ontario, Canada. In a short amount of time, we were able to design a system of privacy and credential verification that worked for all 3 parties, the professionals, their organizations who require their service, and the authorities that issue the professional certifications.
We then expanded our platform to go beyond physician services, and made it applicable to virtually all professions. We then looked at the cultural changes of these professionals when you introduce authentic network of qualified members. As a result we now have an authenticated direct message system where groups of professionals can converse knowing that all members have valid credentials.
